Well... I feel like I need to announce the distrubance in the force that you might have felt.
I am Pizzaboy192. For basically everyone who doesn't know me, I've been building computers since 1997 and i've been alive since 1992, so I'm pretty fluent when it comes to them. I have absolutely no prefrence between Mac or PC (so don't ask) I own 2 iMacs, and a bunch of older beige beasts, and I have 58 PC systems in various states of operation. I currently own a PC in desperate need of a new systemboard (or I am in desperate need of time to install it, seeing as the part glared at me when I mentioned it) I have A.D.D. (or A.D.H.D., one of them) and I can become quite random at times (so lookout). I enjoy music (one good use for an older iMac: jukebox) I have a small website that I run just for kicks and giggles (it hasn't been updated, since I haven't setup my desktop PC in 5 weeks, and it has the login details for my site's FTP) I appreciate the "Geek Squad" for getting me my laptop for free (they said it was broken to my client, so they went to me, I ordered a perfect laptop from Newegg for them, and then recieved a nearly perfect Dell Inspiron 1501 as payment, swapped in a HDD, and havne't had a problem since... except for needing a new power brick and Battery) I find my Canon printer humorous. I own a cellphone that is older than I am, and use it in my car alot. My car is only 2 years younger than I am. My favorite food is anything edible (mushrooms are not edible in my eyes) My most random topic that I have ever made on a forum is this one, and You can find me at www.the-pizzaboy192.co.cc or tinyurl.com\pizzaboy192 THanks =) |

Holy crap, you were building computers when you were 5?
We had just purchased our first really decent computer in 1997, and that's when I guess you can say my computer interest began. So you're like way ahead of me there. Of course, with 2 iMacs and that insane amount of PCs, you sound very similar to my best friend, who has a similar collection (including 2 of the gumdrop iMacs as well!). And what exactly is humorous about your printer? I'm curious. I generally find printers useful at best, and slightly-more-than-annoying at worst. Above all else, welcome to AeroXperience! -------------------- |

Holy crap, you were building computers when you were 5? Yup, I started on Apple IIe parts that were rescued from a dumpster, and went from there QUOTE We had just purchased our first really decent computer in 1997, and that's when I guess you can say my computer interest began. By gumdrop, do you happen to mean the origional CRT style ones? (because that is what I use) (I call them 'fruit salad' iMacs) QUOTE And what exactly is humorous about your printer? I'm curious. I generally find printers useful at best, and slightly-more-than-annoying at worst. My printer does what I call "bruising". I got it as a parting gift (read: Rescued from a dumpster) from a family, only to find out that it can only print 'bruises'... black and blue. The print head costs $120 to replace, while I can purchase a used, refurbished printer from Canon for half that. (I like it because it costs only $10 a year for ink) QUOTE Above all else, welcome to AeroXperience! Thanks! I kinda stumbled onto this place, and I'm not regretting it one bit =) -Pizza |

The fact that you have a YouTube video of your printer is funny enough on it's own. But I did watch it, and it was quite amusing. I had totally forgotten all the amazing sounds 1990s printers made. -------------------- |
