NOTICE: Please do NOT copy this list and paste it somewhere else. For consistent and uniform results, please link to this topic so we can stay on top of all these builds. Thanks. -Spencer (Message carried over from the Windows Vista topic. -.NetRolller 3D)

This is a list of all the known Windows Blackcomb, Windows Vienna and Windows 7 builds (builds leaked to the public are marked in orange, the latest x86 and x64 leaks are in red, builds released to the public are in green, the latest public release is in aqua, and the new records are in purple).

Note: As builds are updated from posts, you will be given credit for the information following each build. We will be deleting the actual post to keep the thread clean. Member's name will be blue.

Note: These builds are suspected, but not confirmed to be Windows 7 builds.

6547 isn't documented, and I don't think it exists. 6137 is obvious fake, MS doesn't use Labs, they use FBL's.

6137 has been removed. And yes, it really looks fake, with its 1638x recompile numbering (which was only used for Vista).

x86fre is only part of the ISO name. The actual full build number is 6.1.6519.1.winmain.071220-1525. (Yes, it's 6.1 because it doesn't yet include the MinWin kernel, that will come in M2/M3.

Disagreed. fbl_kernel builds currently do include MinWin, and are still only referred to as 6.1.

Most likely that is to keep the builds in sync. It will become 7.0.xxxx once MinWin lands in Winmain.

if ms stays in order w/ builds, 7.0.XXXX will be here soon, seeing as 6547 is the latest unconfirmed build.

And why does 6547 mean that 7.0.xxxx is near? Remember, even 6.1.7592 is an allowed build number, there is no automatic switch-over at build 6550, 6600 or 7000!

Or, for that matter, 9999.
