Actually, my windows xp has been corrupted so i want to try windows vista. people suggest me which type of windows vista better for me..

I'd suggest Windows 7, specifically Home Premium. It's much better than Vista, runs faster, and from what I know it's a bit cheaper. I'd say Home Premium instead of Professional because most people don't need all the features in Professional.

Pro does come in handy if you want to make a backup image after installing all your programs an stuff. I highly recommend Windows 7 Pro... But I wouldnt go get Windows Vista if I were you. It takes to much resource. And not its best from microsoft.
