I have a netbook and I need to take notes in class as the prof moves along the powerpoint. I use the notes that are on the bottom to add details along with the slides. Because of the screen resolution of the netbook, the notes area is very small. Is there any way I can move that to the right side of the slide instead of the bottom? I am on powerpoint 2007. Do you guys know if powerpoint 2010 has the feature to move the notes to the right side of the slide?

I use Vista; i have just installed the last version of Apple's browser, Safari 4.0 (530.17), but like shown if this screenshot, i encounter 2 problems:

1) At first, the tabs don't display on the top of the windows (Google Chrome like). Normally it must work like that

2) second problem: the background of the top of windows (toolbar, adress bar and tabs places) is blue. It is normal ????

Norton 360 was quite light on resources, but this is even better. The simplicity of use is also cool, although, this simplicity factor makes me wonder if MSE is as powerful as Norton...

If you've already installed it, what do you think of it as a total replacement to any other antivirus you may have had? Do you miss some of the options you had on another antivirus? Has MSE blocked any threats for you yet? How's your system performance after MSE installation?

1.Download the third party software and Install it
Step 1 Download the SMS transfer tool
Step 2: Unzip the file you downloaded just now and copy the installation file "GodswMobileSMSTransferSetup.CAB" to your mobile device. You may need to connect your device to a host computer using ActiveSync. You can also transfer the file using a memory card.
Step 3: On your device, navigate to the location of the CAB file using File Explorer. Click on the CAB file (displayed as the following screenshot) and click "Install" to begin the installation.

2. Transfer the SMS from your mobile to PC
Now let’s use the software to finish the transfer job.
Step 1: Click "start" and then select programs.
Step 2: Select the “SMSTransfer” in your mobile programs list to run it.
Step 3: Click on "Backup Messages" in the main interface to backup you SMS messages in mobile phone. You will see the follow screenshot

Step 4: Decide the file name, file format and location (The default setting is OK) for your SMS file and click on "Save" to start to backup process. You will see the follow screenshot.

Step 5: After backup completes, all the SMS messages has been backup in a file on your phone. You can save it in your memory card or transfer it to your computer easily by ActiveSync.

3. Restore SMS from pc to mobile
Before backup, the mobile phone do not have any messages as a brand new phone.

Step 1: Click on "SMS Transfer" in programs list to run it.

Step 2: Click on "Restore Messages" in the main interface to save your SMS messages into mobile phone.

Step 3: Select and click on the stf file to be restored.

After Restore Succeed. You will see all you message come back to your phone now!

you see,your important messages will be backuped so easily.

Recently my Kaspersky have detected "Trojan.win32.patched.gy" in the Sidebar.exe and some other .dll
So I remove it and uninstall the Sidebar. Then, I've downloaded the updated version of Sidebar

I can't figure out how to fix that problem, I think as well it happen since I added fonts on my computer, now counting at 4641 fonts. But it doesn't show that on Internet Explorer. So I don't know what to do. I can't seem to fix it nor be able to find something out in google to fix that. I have a doubt, some friends of mine have been receiving a kind of "offline message" from Microsoft (@microsoft.com) telling them that they must go to the "change my address" section from Mail Options to change their address, otherwise they wont' be able to access live services anymore.
It said something about this happening not to everyone, just to some part of the user base.

This seems bogus, since I have seen no reports of this happening. Could this possibly be true? Perhaps it's simply a nasty virus or something.

I have posted this problem to Microsoft's public forums and been advised to either disable email scanning as being "redundant" and to try compacting, both of which didn't work.I have also been advised that the installation may be corrupt, but 2 of the installs have been on newly formatted machines. Any help would be appreciated because many of the machines have migrated away from Outlook to WLM.

If you have labels enabled on the superbar, this causes a lot of taskbar space to be used by something close to useless (at least to me)

So I wrote a little (and when I say little, I mean little) program that uses LikeForms by Tierro to hide the dummy window and decided to share it with you.

I advise you to keep Windows Live Messenger pinned to the taskbar to easily access it if you closed all windows. Jumplists still work, and Windows Live Messenger won't shut down when you close all its windows.

Slightly later than expected, but Windows Live Essentials has been updated. The suite includes the release candidate of Windows Live Messenger 2009 with build number 14.0.8050.1202. We'll update the list of changes below as we discover them (some of these items have previously been reported). Because nearly 200 bugs have been fixed, we won't go into listing them.

- User interface has been updated, including the toasts.
- Sign-in screen has been restyled.
- New program/tray icon.
- Updated e-mail icon showing the number of new e-mails more clearly.
- Updated Group window header
- SkyDrive officially replaces sharing folders feature (Actions > View your online files).
- Expanded What's new area shows more details (eg. complete Tweets, added pictures, etc.) and Post a note has been updated for some items.
- What's new per contact in conversation window.
- You cannot choose your own signature sound any longer. You can only assign signature sounds to your contacts.
