So I'm coming to all of you and requesting donations for this year's trip. The cost of the trip for me will be capped at 500 dollars (like last year) so any amount of donations will be helpful, though that's basically how much I'm looking for tongue.gif. People who donate will receive a badge indicating their support plus a gift item of some sort. It depends on how much the highest donator donates, but as soon as one person donates, I'll detail what's at stake.

Edit: New policy regarding donations:
  • Anyone who donates 10 dollars or more will have the opportunity to receive subscriber status for one year.
  • Anyone who donates 60 dollars or more will have the opportunity to receive subscriber status for life.
Those of you who subscribed already, thank you. You've helped to significantly reduce the total cost of the trip.

Whether or not we are doing high definition coverage is still up in the air. It depends on whether or not Rob can come, as he is the one with the Sony HDR-FX1.
Finally, should anything go wrong with the planned trip, all donations will be refunded.

Last year I was the only one covering everything, and to be perfectly honest with all of you, it was a bit hard trying to edit all of my video footage. This year promises to be more interesting since I won't be the only one there. The video footage we are trying to cover this year should be far more exceptional than last year's.

Contest rules are as follows:
  1. Only members with 50 or more posts (as of 12:28 GMT-5 Feb. 7, 2007), AeroXperience Subscribers, Experts, and VIPs may participate. If you do not fall into any of these categories but would still like to participate, you are encouraged to register as a subscriber.
  2. You may only post once. If anyone is caught posting more than once in that thread (for any reason), that person will be disqualified from this giveaway and all future contests. Any posts which break forum rules will also result in your disqualification.
  3. If you win this giveaway, you are automatically disqualified from the next contest but not any contests after that. In other words, if you were to win now, you wouldn't be able to post in the next contest. You'll be allowed to start posting in contests after the next context is complete.
  4. Staff members cannot participate in this giveaway
  5. This is an international giveaway. However, at this time, I do not plan on footing the shipping costs. If you win, be prepared to pay shipping (I don't think it'll be too bad. Maybe 5-10 USD inside the US. This could change depending on turnout).
  6. I have the box number. If this box is sold on eBay, I will give you one hell of a hard time. These boxes cannot be sold and if you're caught selling the box, you will be disqualified from all future contests on the site. Microsoft has a tendency to come knocking on my door when something which isn't supposed to be sold ends up on ebay or any other selling medium.
  7. This contest expires on Saturday, February 10, 2007 at 11:59 PM GMT -5:00 (Eastern Standard Time). All posts posted after that time frame will be disregarded.
I reserve the right to edit or discontinue this giveaway at any time for any reason.

-Shipping is to be paid by the contest winner regardless of location. This could easily change, so keep an eye out.
